Former Blues striker Jordan Rhodes netted just after the hour to see Town to a 1-0 defeat to Blackburn Rovers in a scrappy affair at Ewood Park. There was little between the teams in a poor game with the only goal somewhat fortunate, Aaron Cresswell clearing off the line from Grant Hanley and Rhodes stabbing it over the line off Blues keeper Stephen Henderson.

Ex-England skipper Alan Shearer is currently on holiday in Barbados, according to the Daily Mail, the same Caribbean island where Blues owner Marcus Evans has been this week. Earlier this evening, TWTD revealed that Shearer had been interviewed for the vacant position as Town manager.

Town fan Marcus Brien is hoping to raise £1981 for the British Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Appeal by parading around the Portman Road pitch wearing a Norwich City shirt when the Blues take on West Brom on Tuesday 26th January. The British Red Cross has already raised more than £1 million in aid for Haiti.
